Monday, March 7, 2005 Free subway, buses, and tourist-y stuff in Kyoto for kimono-wearers posted at 6:08 AM I think this is pretty cool. It's inconvenient (not to mention expensive) to wear a kimono, but they are beautiful and part of Japan's heritage. It's nice that women are encouraged to wear them every now and then. I'd like to have my own kimono someday...
