The heart-shaped carrot was found in the garden of Katsuko Nishikawa in Katsuragi and is 12 by 7 centimeters. Officials of a Nara prefectural agriculture promotion office said that they often saw one carrot with a branch, but that it was infrequent for two carrots to merge together.
