Monday, February 28, 2005 Story of my life posted at 4:46 PM I just applied for a job. It pays about the same as what I make now, but it has more hours. I was told that I would be considered, but that I was overqualified, and they didn't like to hire overqualified people because they tended to leave so quickly, regardless of their good intentions. Fair enough. But why is it that I only seem to find jobs that I'm over- or underqualified for? Where are the jobs in the middle? Comments I know what you mean. I hope it's just a curse of our age. That is, as we age, hopefully things'll get better. We've just got to wait til the babyboomers retire, then we'll be in the big bucks! Or find a way to nudge 'em into early retirement!
